Job Summary

Construction Project Manager - Multifamily Renovations | Dallas, TX

Savoy General Contractors is hiring an experienced Construction Project Manager to run multifamily renovation and CAPEX projects across Texas. We're part of Savoy Companies, a Texas-based real estate platform that owns, manages (8,000+ apartments), and builds what we own, so the projects you'll run are for owners who invest in their properties for the long haul.

This is a real ownership seat. You're the client's single point of contact, and you're directly accountable for scope, schedule, budget, and quality from due diligence through closeout.

What you'll do:

  • Walk units with contractors during due diligence and build the renovation budget: discovery estimates, quantity takeoffs, and budget proposals
  • Vet, select, and contract subcontractors and vendors; own scopes of work, RFIs, and scheduling
  • Run projects day to day: property walks, team meetings, issue resolution, and risk forecasting
  • Own the change-order process end to end and protect the owner's budget from scope creep
  • Deliver weekly and monthly client reports covering risks, schedule, and change-order status
  • Manage design from schematic drawings through 100% construction drawings
  • Close projects out clean: final inspections, city compliance, lien waivers, and closeout documents

What you need:

  • 5+ years managing multifamily construction or renovation projects
  • Construction estimating skills: quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, scope-based cost development
  • Experience procuring construction services, vetting subs, facilitating contracts, and generating RFIs
  • Working knowledge of building practices, codes, ADA requirements, and permitting
  • Clear, professional communication with owners, vendors, and property teams
  • Ability to travel to project sites across Texas
  • Bachelor's in Construction Management or a related field is a plus, not a requirement

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dallas, TX 75206
