Sales Representative

Napco Steel is a family-owned steel and aluminum service center that’s been serving customers since 1976. Based in a 130,000 sq. ft. facility in West Chicago, we provide custom processing and value-added services across a wide range of materials. We take pride in being flexible, reliable, and easy to work with building long-term relationships with our customers across the Chicago area and beyond.

We’re looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team. This is a hands-on, on-site role focused on building relationships, growing accounts, and helping customers find the right steel and aluminum solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Prospect and develop new business while maintaining existing accounts
• Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, and negotiate pricing
• Work closely with operations and logistics to ensure orders are delivered on time
• Understand customer needs and recommend the best products or services
• Track activity and keep records up to date in our system

What we’re looking for:

• Some experience in B2B or industrial sales (metals or manufacturing is a plus)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Willingness to learn products and technical details
• Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook

Requirements:

• High school diploma (college degree is a plus)
• Ability to work on-site in West Chicago and visit customers as needed
