Technical Sales Representative – Industrial Water Systems (Memphis Territory)
Compensation - Base + Commission (Base $75-95K, total OTE ~$150K)
We are partnering with a leading industrial water treatment company to hire a Technical Sales Representative supporting the Memphis territory.
This organization provides engineered water treatment and high-purity water solutions used across industrial, manufacturing, commercial, and laboratory environments. Their offerings include mobile and portable deionization systems and related services that support critical water quality needs for customers with complex process requirements.
This is a field-based, consultative sales role focused on managing existing accounts while driving new business within an established territory.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain relationships with industrial customers
- Identify and close opportunities for water treatment systems and services
- Sell mobile and portable deionization solutions
- Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements
- Partner with internal teams to support project execution
- Track activity and manage pipeline in CRM
- Meet or exceed sales targets
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of B2B or technical sales experience (industrial or equipment-based preferred)
- Experience selling consultative or engineered solutions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a territory and full sales cycle
- Comfortable discussing technical concepts
- CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel within territory
- Valid driver’s license required
