Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time (7:00AM-3:30PM with overtime available) highly skilled and motivated Experienced MIG and TIG Welder to join our dynamic fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise welding operations on various metal components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. Your expertise will contribute to manufacturing high-quality structures, ductwork, piping, and custom fabrications across construction, manufacturing, and industrial projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your advanced welding skills in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship and attention to detail are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on diverse materials including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, galvanized etc.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine weld locations, joint configurations, and fabrication requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment to prepare materials for welding.
  • Conduct quality inspections utilizing calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure weld integrity meets ASME codes & standards and project specifications.
  • Set up and operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and machining tools safely to handle heavy or complex assemblies.
  • Follow safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, pipe threading, soldering, mechanical assembly, and ductwork fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in MIG welding, TIG welding other forms of welding are a plus, but these two forms are the main forms we use here
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices essential for quality control.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes & standards relevant to structural steelwork or piping systems.
  • Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; ability to work independently or as part of a crew on construction or manufacturing sites.
