The MakeUp in shows (Paris, Los Angeles and New York) are recognised as benchmark events bringing together the entire global ecosystem of make‑up, skincare, body care and primary packaging: brands, laboratories, formulators, packaging manufacturers, full‑service suppliers, innovation leaders and trend experts.

Role Overview

National Sales Manager – Americas leads the commercial development of the MakeUp in portfolio across the Americas, including Canada. Reporting to the Director of MakeUp in Shows, the role is responsible for defining and executing the regional sales strategy, driving revenue growth and strengthening the presence of the MakeUp in brand across the North and Latin American beauty markets.

This is a senior individual contributor role, focused on strategic business development and revenue generation across the region. While the position does not include direct line management responsibilities, it requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including marketing, operations and event management to ensure the successful commercial delivery of the shows.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Americas region

Drive revenue growth across booth sales, sponsorships and communication tools

Identify and secure new exhibitors and strategic partners across the beauty ecosystem

Develop relationships with major beauty groups, laboratories, packaging manufacturers and suppliers

Manage a portfolio of key accounts and negotiate high‑value participation packages

Lead prospecting activities and develop new business opportunities across North and Latin America

Represent MakeUp in at key industry events and within the global beauty innovation ecosystem

Ensure rigorous management of the sales pipeline and forecasting processes

Maintain and manage a structured CRM database including prospects, exhibitors and industry contacts

Track sales performance, conversion rates and revenue progression

Oversee the full exhibitor lifecycle: prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, onsite rebooking and post‑event follow‑up

Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance and event teams to ensure the successful commercial delivery of each show
