Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management, strong leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires proficiency in various basic construction skills, management skills, people skills and knowledge of general construction practices. Having experience in finish carpentry is not a required qualification but is something we look for.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with homeowner, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
  • Develop project schedules and manage resources effectively to meet project milestones.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality control
  • Manage project budgets, including estimating costs and controlling expenditures.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accuracy in execution.
  • Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to maintain high standards.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
  • Excellent project scheduling skills with experience in managing timelines effectively.
  • Solid understanding of contracts related to construction projects.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management within a construction context.
  • Familiarity with quality control processes in the construction industry.
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of finish carpentry or Skilled rough carpentry would be beneficial.
  • Experience using tools and being hands when needed is beneficial.
  • We are a very refined high end custom home builder and remodel company and occasionally do some commercial work.
  • We are looking for someone with knowledge of the industry and experience in some construction trades. Knowing how a job is run and the steps it takes to get a house to the finish line as fast as possible is very important, without sacrificing quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
