Millwork Carpenter & Installer (Finish Carpentry)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Millwork Carpenter / Finish Installer to fabricate, assemble, and install high-end architectural millwork, custom cabinetry, trim, and built-ins. If you have a sharp eye for straight lines, tight reveals, and seamless joints, you will thrive with our team.

Duties

• Installation: Install custom architectural millwork, baseboards, crown molding, casing, wainscoting, wall paneling, and high-end cabinetry on residential and commercial job sites.
• Fabrication & Assembly: Cut, shape, and assemble wood and laminate components according to blueprints and shop drawings.
• Precision Layouts: Scribe, shim, and fit custom pieces to irregular field conditions (uneven walls/floors) to achieve a flawless finish.
• Hardware & Adjustments: Install architectural hardware, hinges, drawer slides, and adjust doors/drawers for perfect alignment and reveal.
• Material Care: Handle, transport, and store delicate pre-finished or raw millwork components carefully to prevent damage.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of professional finish carpentry, cabinetmaking, or architectural millwork installation.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and execute fabrication or layout directions directly from architectural blueprints and shop drawings.
• Tool Mastery: Proficient and safe with shop and field tools (table saws, miter saws, routers, track saws, pin nailers, and hand planes).
• Mathematical Accuracy: Exceptional math and measuring skills
• Logistics: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to local job sites. Must own basic field hand tools.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
