Scope of Position:
This is a night shift warehouse position responsible for the accurate receiving, handling, storage, and preparation of freight for outbound delivery. This role supports daily warehouse operations and requires reliable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently work an overnight schedule.
The Warehouse Agent is responsible for executing shipment activity safely and accurately while updating information in company systems using standard operational tools. Must be able to work the assigned shift as required by the branch.
Position Schedule: Monday - Friday: 18:00 - 02:30 (Night Shift)
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, count, and verify inbound and outbound freight for accuracy, condition, and documentation.
Safely load, unload, move, and stage cargo using appropriate material‑handling equipment (forklift certification required if assigned).
Store, organize, and retrieve freight efficiently while maintaining accurate labels, references, and system records.
Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring correct quantities, labeling, and documentation prior to dispatch.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment while complying with safety, OSHA, and company standards.
Support inventory accuracy through proper reporting, cycle counts, and assigned warehouse tasks as needed.
Security & Compliance
Follow all TSA, CCSF, and company security procedures.
Execute tasks with attention to detail and adherence to established policies and guidelines.
Ability to pass our internal DG course
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Degree or equivalent required
Must be capable of standing and walking for extended periods (length of a scheduled shift)
Must be able to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis. Must be able to use proper lifting techniques. The ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important. Must be able to meet deadlines with tight scheduling requirements. Must be able to shift priorities easily. Must be able to use hands and feet simultaneously and for repetitive movements.
Successful candidates must pass a background check
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must not require future sponsorship for employment visa
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Must have the ability to work overtime in support of the department’s needs
Must be able to commute to the city of Hawthorne , CA
Comfortable with numbers and basic mathematical skills
Comfortable working in a Warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications:
Associates or Undergraduate Degree Preferred
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, and familiarity with PowerPoint)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize throughout the workday while remaining focused and organized
Demonstrated ability to be proactive in thought and action
Strong organizational skills
Analytical with a strong attention to detail
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven ability to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Willing to pitch in and help on last minute projects or assist team members
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Has a demonstrated strong work ethic, and reliability
Forklift operator certified

The wage for this position is $19.00-$28.00
