Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical technical resource responsible for the integrity and performance of complex power systems within a high-output facility. By leveraging your expertise in troubleshooting and system optimization, you will ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational reliability across our production environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated industrial electrical infrastructure and machinery.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions by interpreting complex schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic data.
• Drive operational efficiency by performing rigorous preventive and predictive maintenance on motors, transformers, switchgear, and automation control panels.
• Manage the installation of electrical wiring, conduit systems, and instrumentation to support facility upgrades.
• Validate system performance through comprehensive testing to ensure adherence to rigorous safety standards and electrical codes.
• Minimize production interruptions by providing rapid response and expert resolution to equipment breakdowns.
• Optimize control system functionality by maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs and automated hardware.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems in an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and interpret detailed electrical blueprints and technical specifications.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment focused on electrical maintenance.
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with national electrical standards.
