About Pacific Primary Pacific Primary is a nonprofit preschool offering a full-day, year-round program in a loving, dynamic, and creative environment. We serve a diverse community of children ages 2.5 to 6 years. Our mission is grounded in a strong commitment to social justice, the arts, and emotional intelligence.

The Role: We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can step seamlessly into any classroom or the front desk as needed to maintain high-quality care, supervision, and child-to-adult ratios.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with classroom teachers to support classrooms of 16–22 children.
  • Implement a planned play-based curriculum that nurtures social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Build rapport across multiple classrooms to facilitate smooth transitions.
  • Foster relationships with children, families, and colleagues in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 ECE units required (24 units preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children.
  • Proactive, flexible mindset and a genuine team player.
  • Familiarity with Emergent Curriculum, reflective practices, documentation, and Anti-Bias Education preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $29–$36 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
