Location: Hybrid – Memphis, TN or Lake Mary, FL (Must be local)

Schedule:

• Regular Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CT
• Training: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT
• Hybrid: Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Job Summary

We are seeking a Customer Service Senior Representative to provide exceptional support by handling inbound and outbound customer calls, responding to insurance-related inquiries, and assisting with benefits verification. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, healthcare industry experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls throughout the shift (approximately 30 calls per day).
• Respond to inquiries regarding insurance claims, policies, and benefits.
• Research and resolve customer questions, grievances, and moderately complex issues.
• Interpret policy provisions and determine appropriate resolutions.
• Route claim forms and supporting documentation for processing.
• Escalate and resolve non-routine issues as needed.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and written guidelines.
• Complete daily tasks independently while collaborating with team members when necessary.

Required Skills

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of customer service, insurance verification, or related experience.
• Experience handling both inbound and outbound customer calls.
• Knowledge of third-party insurance carrier processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Office, and SharePoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
• Willingness to perform varying tasks.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of healthcare industry experience.
• Third-party benefits verification experience.
• Knowledge of healthcare pharmaceuticals and related services.

Work Environment

• Hybrid role with onsite work required every Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Candidates must reside locally in Memphis, TN or Lake Mary, FL.
• Must have a quiet, private workspace for remote work.
• Hard-wired internet connection required (Wi-Fi is not acceptable).
