Porter​/Housekeeper

Position: Porter/Housekeeper Full Time

Amber woods of Farmington – Porter / Housekeeper

Porter in a nursing facility, with ability to fill in as housekeeper when needed.

Schedule

7 am to 3 pm, every other weekend. Potential for extra shifts.

Compensation

Rate is $18.00 per hour on weekdays and $19.80 per hour on weekends. In addition, lunch is paid. This translates to $19.20 per hour on weekdays and $21.12 on weekends, with an average weekly wage of $19.58. Full‑time employees receive benefits including excellent insurance and generous paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Clean hallway and common area floors.
• Disinfect high‑touch areas and equipment.
• Remove bulk trash and move linen bags.
• Perform routine special cleaning tasks.
• Participate in room changes.
• Perform light/minimal maintenance tasks if needed.
• Housekeeper responsibilities: clean resident rooms and common areas per established routine and procedure.

Qualifications

Applicant must be positive, customer service oriented, hard working, and driven to assure a clean building. One year of experience in a healthcare or hotel setting is preferred.

Amber woods is a 130‑bed skilled nursing facility located in Farmington with parking and convenient bus route access.
