PrideStaff is looking for a CNC Machinist!
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC milling and turning centers to machine metal parts to precise tolerances
- Program CNC machines by creating G-code programs from engineering drawings and CAD models
- Set up machines with required tooling, workholding and make test cuts to prove out programs
- Load and unload parts, tools and workholding fixtures on machines
- Inspect parts using calibers, micrometers and other precision measuring tools
- Maintain equipment and keep work area organized and clean
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of experience operating CNC milling and lathe machines
- Strong geometry, trigonometry and computer skills for programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and CAD models
- Problem solving skills to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Meticulous attention to detail for ensuring part quality
- Effective communication and documentation skills
