**Similar Industry Experience (food, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical manufacturing) highly preferred.**

Position Summary: Responsible for wide variety of duties related to product quality including receipt, quarantine, testing and release of packaging components, and inspections and sampling of finished products within the cGMP manufacturing facility.

  • Follow all standard operating procedures and safety regulations in accordance with cGMPs.
  • Ensure that in-coming packaging components are received, quarantined, sampled, tested, and released according to company standard operating procedures.
  • Perform quality inspections of finished products in accordance with specifications during the packaging process.
  • Perform packaging line inspections in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in identifying GMP deficiencies and non-conformances.
  • Prior to start up on each line - Review and verify label/code date/ carton code date/lot code/EXP date are correct and match the batch record and specification for product being produced.
  • Daily work with floor personnel to ensure Quality metrics are being taken as well as all Quality goals achieved.
  • Working with Production Supervisors/Management daily to achieve production goals and ensure food/product safety goals have been and are continuously being met.
  • Daily continuous auditing within the facility (including recording issues, taking photographs if necessary, and working with QA manager to get issues resolved.
  • ATP swabbing during the production line clearance.
  • Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum High School diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in food, pharma or dietary supplement manufacturing environment is preferred

The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving machines in warehouse and production areas and handling of sanitation chemicals and raw materials. Work also requires some physical strain, such as long periods of standing and walking in a warehouse facility and lifting of moderately heavy items such as raw materials, packaging and finished product cases. Other physical demands include climbing, crouching and reaching.
