We are seeking a highly technical Lead Engineer – Vehicle Software Package Build Compilation to own the creation, compilation, and packaging of complete vehicle software stacks for next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms. This role focuses on building, compiling, and assembling full vehicle software packages from distributed ECU software deliveries, calibration sets, configuration manifests, and system dependencies. You will ensure that every vehicle software release is correctly compiled into a consistent, traceable, and flashable vehicle image for lab-car, HIL/SIL, integration, and production environments. Lead will operate at the core of SDV release engineering—transforming distributed ECU artifacts into a complete, validated vehicle software package.
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Own end-to-end vehicle software build and compilation pipelines for SDV platforms.
Compile complete vehicle software packages from secondary ECU binaries, calibration artifacts and parameter sets, configuration manifests and feature flags, gateway and central compute software, diagnostics and service packages
Generate fully integrated, flashable vehicle images for different vehicle variants and configurations.
Ensure deterministic and reproducible vehicle builds across programs and hardware versions.
Ensure correct bundling of ECU software, calibration data, and configuration definitions into unified vehicle releases.
Manage packaging formats form vehicle flash images, OTA packages, lab-car and HIL/SIL deployment bundles
Ensure package integrity, version consistency, and compatibility validation across components and support multi-variant packaging strategies across SDV platforms.
Execute vehicle builds using manifest-driven compilation systems defining ECU inclusion and version mapping.
Ensure manifests correctly resolve ECU software versions, calibration alignment, hardware dependencies, feature configuration rules
Integrate vehicle build and compilation systems into CI/CD pipelines to automate triggering of vehicle builds from ECU delivery pipelines.
Implement build validation gates for compilation success, artifact completeness, ECU compatibility
Ensure vehicle software package consistency across multi-node distributed systems.
Manage generation of ECU firmware binaries, bootloaders and application images, calibration datasets and parameter files, variant configuration artifacts, diagnostic and service packages
