Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility preferred
  • Minimum of one year's experience in school settings
  • Familiarity with educational IEP processes
  • Experience providing therapy to K-12 students (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Maintain accurate records and track student progress
  • Participate in meetings and trainings as required by the school
  • Deliver services with a focus on both academic achievement and personal growth for students
