The R&D Scientist I – Innovation is an entry level position supporting business growth through development of new chocolate and coating products for mid- to long-term projects which meet changing market demands, representation in industry, and interactions with customers. They are building subject matter expertise in chocolate and compound formulation, manufacturing, and use of new/novel technologies. Their primary responsibilities are developing & altering formulas, supporting troubleshooting, starting basic research of key ingredients, and maintaining paperwork & communication for both internal and external stakeholders. The R&D Scientist I – Innovation is expected to navigate projects thoughtfully with technical acumen and problem solving.
