We are on the lookout for a talented Senior CNC Machinist specializing in Mills and Lathes to enhance their growing team. Position Summary: As a Senior CNC Machinist, you will be integral in producing high-quality machined components across diverse industries including aerospace, automotive, and medical devices—all of which require meticulous attention to tight tolerances. Your primary responsibilities will include setting up and operating CNC machines (Mills & Lathes), interpreting detailed blueprints, making precise adjustments to tooling, and utilizing precise measurement tools to guarantee product accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC Mills and Lathes according to production specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings for accurate machining.
  • Upload programs and modify machine parameters (G&M code) as required.
  • Select, install, and adjust tooling while making necessary offsets.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machine issues.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs) using metrology tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
  • Maintain quality control throughout the entire machining process.
  • Keep a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience.
  • At least 3 years of proven proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines.
  • Strong blueprint reading and understanding of G & M codes - especially with Fanuc control.
  • Familiarity with tool selection and making tool offsets.
  • Proficient in using precision measurement tools; experience operating a CMM is a plus!
  • An unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address machine-related issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to function well in a team-oriented setting.
  • Willingness to adhere to a safety-first approach in the workplace.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime opportunities available.

Salary Range: $25/hr - $37/hr (or) $52,000 - $80,000 DOE
