Accounts Payable Associate

IDR is seeking a Accounts Payable Associate to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee. This organization is a leader in the finance and accounting industry, focused on delivering efficient and accurate accounts payable services to support their operational needs. Position Overview for the Accounts Payable Associate:

• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, disbursements, and financial adjustments.
• Perform detailed research to verify the accuracy and integrity of all accounts payable transactions.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and clarify invoice details.
• Enforce internal controls related to disbursement processes while recommending process improvements.
• Key invoices into financial systems, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring data accuracy.

Requirements for the Accounts Payable Associate:

• Strong understanding of general arithmetic and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of data processing systems and computerized accounts payable functions.
• Thorough understanding of accounts payable procedures, controls, and best practices.
• General knowledge of 1099 documentation and compliance requirements.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (Windows-based).
