Staff Therapist

Role Overview Education & Experience

  • Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Program (or Occupational Therapy equivalent)
  • Current state Physical Therapist or PTA license
  • 0+ years of clinical experience as a provider; significant interest and passion around healthcare in pelvic health
  • Current BLS Certification
  • English-speaking preferred
  • Proven financial planning and management skills
  • Knowledge of legal, medical, and accreditation compliance
  • Strong organizational and delegation skills
  • Compassionate, excellent at clinical duties, and patient care
  • Able to lift 50 lbs, assist patients, and meet published physical demand norms

Work Environment

  • Outpatient women’s/men's/pediatric's pelvic health clinic
  • Uses clinic therapy equipment and standard office technology

Exposure Determination

Potential exposure to hazardous substances and blood borne pathogens

  • Make sure proper rehab techniques are being utilized.

  • Create and evaluate the effectiveness of departmental programs.

  • Metrics & Reporting
  • Track and monitor KPIs weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Achieve >86% clinic efficiency and other departmental benchmarks.
  • Submit agendas, scorecards, and patient reporting consistently.
  • Organization, Communication & Planning
  • Weekly submission:

Weekly Agenda, Active Patient Reporting, Score Cards

  • Attend All Hands and Mentorship Meetings, Quarterly Planning Meeting, Annual Planning Meeting
  • Sales & Marketing
  • Build/retain professional physician/birthworker relationships with Practice 25 referral
  • Coordinate with the Office Manager to ensure Active Patient Reporting and Wellness Checks
  • Engage physicians in external relationship-building activities including Reverse Referrals, Surgical Observations, In-clinic Shadowing, Return Patient Visits, and Empower University Events
  • Participate in internal practice-building activities including social media posts, Google reviews, Net Promoter Scores, clinic videos, and reactivation campaigns
  • Compliance
  • Ensure full compliance with state/federal regulations, medical standards, and accreditation

Other Duties

  • Daily:

Perform Daily Patient Care and documentation; escalate issues to agenda or director/owner; record items for future discussion; complete daily tasks; maintain energy

  • Weekly:

Achieve schedule efficiency, arrival rate, notes submission, clinic efficiency; attend meetings; submit issues or to-dos

  • Tasks:

Active Patient Reporting, Coordinate Case Management with Providers, Weekly Agenda, Scorecards, Monitor Clinical Supply Inventory

  • Customer Service:

Monitor NPS Scores and Reviews

  • Monthly:

One-to-one meetings with Direct Supervisor; discuss core values and productivity issues

  • Quarterly:

Planning meetings; review goals; update on clinic care and issues; improve customer experience; update policies/procedures; review Practice 25 Referral Tracker

  • Bi-Annual:

Staff Satisfaction Survey; staff performance review

  • Annual:

Attend planning meeting; review previous year; set goals; review mission, vision, core values, and staff
