Warehouse Worker - Distribution

Job Overview

Join our dynamic distribution team as a Warehouse Worker, where your energy and attention to detail will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfills customer orders by receiving orders, pulling products located in warehouse and preparing orders for shipment by assembling packages to complete customer orders
• Responsible for receiving and storing imported products and managing the location of product in inventory.
• Receive, load, distribute and store products using automated system to add to inventory.
• Consolidate inventory by rewrapping and using scanning material to adjust inventory.
• Support other departments in the warehouse during peaks.
• Clean warehouse – including the removal of debris and reorganizing inventory.
• Abide by IPP’s safety and Health Policies and Procedures including wearing proper PPE, maintaining a safe work environment, including a clean driving record.
• Other duties as required.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in a warehouse setting receiving and storing products.
• Experience with scanning equipment and basic computer usage.
• Minimum of 2 years Forklift experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of forklift, pallet jack and dolly operation

Physical Conditions:

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
• Stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

• This position will work under general warehouse conditions; however, it may be required to walk or move to other areas of the building to interact with other departments.
• May need to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation:

• $18.58/hour
