You can be a self-proclaimed full-stack web application guru, advancing in your engineering or analytics career, or a data developer who has a strong interest in software engineering. You will be part of one of our fastest-growing, heavily impactful teams, and working with a great client who loves data as much as we do.
This is a full-time position requiring on-site work four days a week at a client’s office in Washington, D.C. An active Top-Secret clearance is mandatory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design overall architecture of the web application
Design, develop, and implement Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions from various data sources into desired systems
Maintain and supervise operation of existing ETL packages
Troubleshoot and debug front- and back-end processes
Utilize Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, and big data technology to analyze and display results from several internal and external systems
Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new designs and features
Maintain code integrity and organization, optimization and performance
Document requirement specifications and any related designsExecute project assignments to support the overall objectives of the project plan; analyze and resolve technical problems
Required Skills:
Highly experienced with HTML5, CSS3, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS/Deno, REACT and/or Python
Multi Cloud Architecture
Knowledge of data query, data aggregation, and system architecture
Single Sign On and Multi Factor Authentication
Experience with big data technologies
Ability to design and write test case scripts
Ability to work effectively in both a team and independently within a fast-paced environment
Able to deal with a diverse set of stakeholders and facilitate workshops
Proficient in articulation, communication, presentation, and hold high integrity
Possess strong problem-solving skills a learning attitude
Needs to be a team player, can also work remotely and independently
5+ years of related experience, including 5+ years designing, developing, and implementing Web Applications
Must hold active Top-Secret clearance
Desired Skills/Experience:
Preferred bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Design, Economics or Business, or equivalent
Design, develop, and implement Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) solutions from various data sources into desired systems
Maintain and supervise operation of existing ETL packages
Utilize Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, and big data technology to analyze and display results from several internal and external systems
Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analysis
Database knowledge (required for ETL functions)
Strong proficiency in ETL development, data transformation, and data management

The proposed salary for this position is:
$114,600 $192,500 USD
