Role and Responsibilities of Certified Medical Assistant:
You will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions, provide guidance to patients, and support the daily operations of the pharmacy and vision center. You will ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Input and process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide patients with product information and guidance on medications
- Assist customers with over-the-counter medications and pharmacy inquiries
- Support vision center operations, including assisting with glasses and contacts
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a professional, helpful demeanor
- Participate in ongoing training and education programs to maintain certifications and skills
Required Skills and Experience of Certified Medical Assistant:
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Assistant
- Knowledge of prescription processing and over-the-counter medication
- Ability to provide guidance and support to customers regarding medications
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling prescriptions
- Positive attitude and professional communication skills
Compensation and Benefits of Certified Medical Assistant:
- Hourly wage range: $21.00-$26.00 for full-time work with shift start between 8:00am-4:00pm
- Performance-based annual or quarterly incentive awards
- Additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed
