Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Auto Repair Specialist - II to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs on powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, with precision and attention to detail.
- Repair and calibrate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) such as lane departure warnings, collision avoidance systems, and parking assist features.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently across various vehicle systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks safely.
- Conduct wheel alignments and vehicle suspension adjustments to ensure proper handling and tire wear.
- Maintain detailed repair records, follow manufacturer guidelines, and ensure all work meets quality standards.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics interpretation.
- Expertise in diesel engine repair as well as general automotive engine system troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and modern vehicle electronic modules.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle maintenance procedures, and auto body repair techniques.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools.
- Ability to interpret automotive service manuals and electrical wiring diagrams accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely in a fast-paced environment.
