Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
  • Execute food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning with precision using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in all aspects of food handling and kitchen operations
  • Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients needed for daily specials or seasonal offerings
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively for serving
  • Follow safety standards in production, including proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
  • Support catering events and food service operations by preparing large quantities of meals efficiently and accurately

Experience

  • Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn
  • Strong understanding of food safety management practices, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Experience with meal preparation, food service, and catering operations enhances your ability to excel in this role
  • Demonstrated proficiency in culinary skills such as knife handling, slicing techniques, and food presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
