Physical Therapy Assistant

Role: Provide support in implementing personalized treatment plans, assist with therapeutic exercises and modalities, monitor patient progress, educate patients and families, maintain accurate documentation, collaborate with healthcare teams, and support discharge planning in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited PTA program
• Successful passing of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• NC PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) recommended

Key Duties: Assist physical therapists, improve patient mobility, ensure coordinated care, and support patient safety and education.

Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to follow treatment plans.
