We are currently recruiting for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to work full-time with our company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient care.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support OTs in implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to children’s developmental needs in areas such as motor skills, adaptive behaviors, and self‑help abilities.
  • Assist in delivering creative, play-based therapy both in‑clinic and in community settings—raising the bar on developmental outcomes.
  • Facilitate parent and caregiver education under OT supervision, guiding strategies to reinforce therapeutic progress at home.
  • Participate in evaluations by assisting with data gathering and reporting on treatment session outcomes.
  • Accurately document session notes, updates, and progress in alignment with clinical requirements.
  • Engage actively in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Embody J5 Therapy’s mission by celebrating each child’s growth, collaborating with families, and contributing to a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Current Arkansas certification or licensure as a COTA.
  • Preference given to candidates with pediatric experience.
  • Strong empathetic communication skills and reliability.
  • Team-oriented mindset with dedication to family-centered care.
