Segra is excited to invite a talented and qualified Accounting Team Manager to become part of our dynamic team in a full-time role.
Work Arrangement:
This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work in the office for a minimum of three days per week, with the flexibility to enjoy two remote days.
Position Summary:
As the Accounting Team Manager, you will oversee critical accounting functions, including month-end closes, financial statement preparation and analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will also engage in reviewing complex transactions, assessing new accounting standards, and working on non-standard contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatments under US GAAP. This role serves as a primary liaison for other departments, ensuring comprehensive understanding and adherence to accounting policies. You will lead a dedicated team of 3-4 Senior Accountants.
The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles (GAAP) and expertise in internal controls. Experience in implementing financial systems and seeking process improvements is highly valued.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; CPA or MBA is strongly preferred.
Experience:
- At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a management role leading finance professionals.
- Experience with Big Four or regional audit firms is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Previous experience with accounting systems is required (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, Power BI is a bonus).
Essential Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP, accounting procedures, and familiarity with ASC606 and ASC842.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with advanced Excel skills for data manipulation (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts).
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Adept at adapting to evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment while offering innovative solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate strong business acumen.

Salary Range: $86,205 - $107,835
