Cabinet Assembler / Fabrication Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet Assembler / Fabrication Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have basic cabinetry and woodworking skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to safely lift and handle materials. This position involves assisting with cabinet assembly, operating and supporting fabrication machinery, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble cabinets and components accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with material fabrication and machine operations.
• Read and interpret floor plans, CAD drawings, shop drawings, and production specifications.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to plans.
• Maintain quality control and ensure finished products meet company standards.
• Organize materials and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Safely lift and move cabinetry components and materials.
• Work collaboratively with production and installation teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Basic experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and follow floor plans, CAD drawings, and shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fabrication equipment and machinery.
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience with CNC equipment or other woodworking machinery is a plus but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
