Job Overview

Travel Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 13‑week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist with one year of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory interventions and support for patients with acute respiratory problems and routine care for chronic respiratory disorders.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Perform diagnostics tests such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery.
• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Educate patients and family members on medication usage and equipment operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CRT practice.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC.
• Valid respiratory therapy license in compliance with state regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Technical/Motor Skills

• Perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move equipment.
• Assist with procedures and use department equipment.

Physical Abilities

• Remain in a stationary position and move about.
• Move equipment weighing 50–100 lbs, push, pull, and bend.

Mental & Sensory Requirements

• Coping with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure.
• Work under close supervision occasionally and independently.
• Possess visual acuity and effective communication skills.
