We are looking for reliable, safety-minded Machine Operators to join our team!
The Machine Operator is responsible for all aspects of machine operation and changeover activities to achieve and maintain production requirements. The Machine Operator is also responsible to perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately while providing leadership principles to the production line
Essential Duties:
- Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
- Understand and Follow (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Understand Start-up and shut-down of filling / packaging line
- Understand and complete production paperwork
- Capable of troubleshooting more than 1-2 types of Machinery when needed
- Must report any unsafe acts and conditions to the appropriate manager
- Responsible for working as a team to ensure the plant is in audit ready at all times
- Production Report – input and outputs
- Understand and meet production and quality goals
- Responsible on following all Safety and food Safety guideline
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years’ manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing background preferred
- Requires ability to read and write in English
- Experience setting up and adjusting production processing or packaging machinery is preferred
- Self-motivated, shows initiative, detail orientated and demonstrates the skill in multi-tasking.
- Ability to perform basic math calculation
Working conditions and Physical requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
- The employee must frequently lift, push and/or move items weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Machine Operator Compensation
Compensation will be $19-$21 per hour. Overtime rate starts $28.50-$31.50
