Essential Duties
Under the general supervision of the Repair & Maintenance Supervisor, the Repair & Maintenance Technician is responsible for cleaning and repairing all available inventory based on company policy using the proper cleaning supplies and procedures. The Technician is also responsible for logging/documenting all cleaned/repaired inventory for proper record keeping.
Responsibilities
- Reports to work daily and is ready to work at the scheduled start time.
- Must wear all safety equipment (i.e. back support and steel-toed shoes).
- Assess “dirty area” and prioritize cleansing/repairing of workload for the day.
- Ensure all team members and self are following proper cleaning procedures.
- Use appropriate germicidal disinfectant cleaner (e.g., sprayed and left on equipment for 10 minutes).
- Follow Super Care infection control cleaning procedures for all contaminated labeled equipment.

- Un-bag equipment.
- Spray germicidal disinfectant cleaner; let sit for 10 minutes.
- Follow standard cleaning of equipment procedure.
- Dispose of rags/towels used to clean contaminated labeled equipment.
- Allow equipment/devices to run for 15–20 minutes for proper testing.
- If any equipment does not successfully pass testing, RM Technician must communicate with Supervisor for further instructions.
- Inspect/evaluate all equipment for possible repairs; send to manufacturer if extensive repair is needed.
- Log and document all tested equipment/devices by end of week (Friday) in the Google Drive file “Cleaning Log” (serial number, item number, description, etc.).
- Wipe down all surfaces in RM Department with disinfectant spray at the end of day in preparation for next business day.
- Perform any other duties requested by Supervisor or Management.
- Understand and adhere to all Super Care Health company policies.
- Remain knowledgeable about all products.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and clean work environment.
Education and Work Experience
- Graduate from an accredited high school.
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and miscellaneous items up to 75 lbs daily.
