Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Swiss Machine Operator / Machinist Trainee to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for candidates with prior machine operator or production experience who are interested in developing skills in Swiss-style CNC machining. You will receive hands-on training while supporting production operations in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Swiss-style CNC machines under supervision and training
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts
• Monitor machine performance and part quality during production runs
• Perform basic inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Follow work instructions, blueprints, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with minor adjustments, tool changes, and preventative maintenance as trained
• Report production or quality issues to supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a machine operator, production worker, or in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
