Slitter Machine Operator Job Details

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3pm to 11pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Location: Fairfield, OH

Slitter Machine Operator Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Previous machining or machine operating experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing machinery experience preferred
• Experience with high-speed slitting, rewinding, converting, or web-handling equipment preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Previous Power Industrial Truck experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Ability to use or learn precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Clean background required
• 10-panel drug screen required

About the Slitter Machine Operator Role

As a Slitter Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include: • Set up, program, and operate high-speed slitting and converting machinery

• Perform machine setups, threading, and changeovers
• Adjust blade alignment, tension controls, and machine settings
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensional tolerances
• Change and maintain machine blades and tooling
• Stage and load materials onto production equipment
• Follow all lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and workplace safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
