Weekend Day Shift CNC Machinist

Schedule: Thursday–Saturday

• Three 12-hour shifts (36 hours worked, paid for 40)
• Four 10-hour shifts

Position Overview

Bonneville Machine is seeking an experienced job-shop CNC Machinist to join our weekend day shift. This role is ideal for a skilled machinist who enjoys challenging work, large parts, and a collaborative shop environment.

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience in a job-shop environment
• Strong knowledge of machine setup and handling large parts
• Ability to import and run programs, with a basic working understanding of G-code
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn, share knowledge, and maintain a positive attitude

Equipment Experience Desired

• Horizontal boring mills
• Vertical lathes with live tooling
• 5-axis gantry mill (bed sizes measured in feet, not inches)
• Utilizing a crane to place parts
• Dialing in parts that are hundreds to thousands of pounds
• Additional smaller horizontal lathes and mills for support equipment
• Mostly Fanuc controls throughout the shop
• GibbsCAM programming
• Dedicated programmers available (CAM experience not required)

Type of Work

• Large-scale machining, as well as small and medium-sized components
