The R&D Scientist I – Applications is an entry level position supporting business growth through identifying and highlighting the value proposition of new and existing products, representation in industry, and interactions with customers. They are building subject matter expertise in chocolate and compound formulation, manufacturing, and use in culinary applications (confections, frozen novelty, bakery items, etc). Primary responsibilities are developing & altering benchtop applications formulas, supporting troubleshooting, starting basic research of key ingredients, and maintaining paperwork & communication for both internal and external stakeholders. The R&D Scientist I – Applications is expected to approach projects and situations with technical acumen and thoughtful problem solving.
