School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Maple Grove, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a school-based setting near Maple Grove, MN. Youll make a meaningful impact during the 20262027 academic year, working directly with students at Northdale Middle School and Andover Elementary and High School.

This on-site position offers a consistent schedule, working Monday through Friday, with 37.5 hours each week (0.7 Full-Time Equivalent at Northdale MS). School begins for students on September 8, 2026, with your start date slated for August 25, 2026, allowing plenty of time to prepare and settle in before the academic year commences. The assignment runs through June 10, 2027.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Minnesota SLPA license (required at the time of interview; pending licensure is not accepted)
  • Demonstrated experience or strong interest working with school-aged children in educational environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in diverse school settings
  • Flexibility to adapt to caseloads in both middle and elementary/high school populations

Responsibilities:

  • Support SLPs with implementation of student individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language services as directed
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Assist with assessment and data collection under the supervision of a certified SLP
