Join our team as an Entry-Level Customer Service Representative, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth service operations. In this position, you will engage with customers through various channels including phone, email, and web chat while providing timely and accurate assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and web chats with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support customer service operations by performing back-office tasks as needed.
- Assist customers in submitting and processing transactions related to their accounts.
- Help identify, address, and resolve any issues pertaining to award origination and disbursement.
- Reach out to customers to resolve any discrepancies or missing documentation.
- Log and update customer interactions into our system ensuring thorough documentation.
- Research and confirm processing statuses, and assist customers with data integrity issues.
- Adhere to all compliance and quality standards while providing customer support.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center environment.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle high call volumes and provide effective service.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to resolving customer concerns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in contact center or service operations.
- Familiarity with case logging and customer service applications.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to service level agreements.
- Associate degree or additional training in customer service or a related field is a plus.
