Pediatric CVOR Surgical Tech

Schedule

Shift: 6:40 AM - 5:10 PM, with potential for variations. Weekends, holidays, call, and float required per department guidelines.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric CVOR Surgical Tech with extensive experience in Pediatric Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, General surgery, and Level 1 Trauma situations. The ideal candidate will support surgical teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Pediatric CVOR surgeries by preparing operating instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams including surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses.
• Ensure compliance with safety and procedural protocols.
• Adapt to changing surgical environments, including floating to various departments as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of experience as a Pediatric CVOR Surgical Tech, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
• Life support certifications must be obtained from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license required to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
