Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Safely transfer and reposition residents using appropriate equipment and body mechanics.
Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, weights, and other observations.
Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
Support residents with mobility, exercise, and restorative care programs.
Promote infection prevention and follow all safety protocols.
Provide compassionate emotional support while preserving resident dignity and privacy.
Assist with meal service, hydration, and daily comfort measures.
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care.
