Job Overview

The Assistant Project Manager position is a critical role providing support to the Project Manager and field teams. In this vital role, you will support project managers in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception to completion. Your proactive approach and strong organizational skills will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in construction management while contributing to impactful projects across diverse sectors.

Duties

  • Maintain Procore on assigned projects. Photo albums, Documents, Permits, Subcontracts, RFIs, Submittals, meeting minutes, revisions and daily reports-management/organization/updates.
  • Plans reproduction- ensure field teams have the most updated information at all times.
  • Submittals- Prepare, submit and track all assigned project material submittals. Follow up and notify purchasing once approvals are granted.
  • Samples-Procure all finish samples and prepare submittals. Track and advise on status.
  • RFIs-Prepare, submit with solutions, add cost impacts, track and notify on approval status.
  • MEP-Coordination and submittal organization and distribution..
  • Support project coordination activities by communicating with teammates, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project flow.
  • Review plans, schematics, and contracts to verify project specifications and scope of work.
  • Manage procurement logs and assist with material and equipment ordering.
  • Assist lead Project Manager as required.
  • Project closeout and client turnover.

Qualifications

  • Experience with construction administration process and field operations.
  • Proficiency in ProCore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing background is a big advantage.
  • Knowledge of project scheduling techniques and construction management principles.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Acutely aware of the urgency required in immediate communication required to keep the pace of todays technologically advanced workplace.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
