Revenue Accountant (Contract)

Our publicly traded client is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join their team on a 6+ month contract, with strong potential for extension or full-time conversion. This is a fully onsite role (5 days/week) in the Tri valley area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Support month-end close, revenue accruals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Manage billing, accounts receivable, cash application, and collections
• Review customer contracts and sales transactions
• Partner with Operations and Order Management to ensure accurate revenue recognition
• Support audits, SOX compliance, and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–6+ years of revenue accounting and/or AR experience
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606
• Recent experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
• Experience with an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite
• Advanced Excel skills
