Overview:
Arkadium is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer to help the organization fulfill its mission to elevate players, partners, and general intelligence with the world’s best games. Our vision is to create, capture and capitalize 100 billion gameplays and need you to help us to get there. We have the strategy, capital, business fundamentals, creativity and track record but we need you to bring a passion for process and love of optimization to take us to new heights. This role will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance. Implement processes that improve performance and drive the organization towards its goals.
Collaborate with the head of HR on people practices that foster growth and excellence. Regularly conduct performance analysis in every department.
Provide strategic growth insights to the CEO while ensuring that the organization remains ahead of potential risks
Provide direct management oversight, and drive annual outcomes for the Project Management, HR, Legal and Finance teams
Oversee the consistent presentation of clear financial information to the CEO and Board
Manage the company's annual budgeting process and establish financial controls to stay on track
Effectively manage high-level vendor relationships with attorneys, banks, auditors, and tax specialists
Ensure legal, financial and operational compliance company-wide
Empower and nurture the professional development of direct reports by actively promoting a culture of continuous growth, providing timely and constructive feedback
As needed, recruit and build a team of A players by creating an environment that fosters individual and team excellence.
