Our client is seeking an experienced Career Live-In Nanny / Family Assistant to join their household on a long-term basis. The family spends winters in Miami and summers in Chicago and is looking for a dedicated professional to become a valued member of their home.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, energetic, quick on their feet, and thrives in a fast-paced household with young children. The ideal candidate naturally takes initiative, anticipates the family's needs, and can confidently keep up with the pace and energy of four young children while providing exceptional childcare and household support. The parents are very hands-on and believe in working as a team, creating a collaborative, respectful, and supportive work environment.

Position Details

• Start Date: Mid-August 2026 (earlier start available for the right candidate)
• Location: Miami, FL (winter) & Chicago, IL (summer)
• Position Type: Full-Time, Live-In
• Schedule: Preferably 6 days per week (a 5-day schedule may be considered by alternating Saturdays on and off)
• Children: Four children (ages 5, 4, 3, and 18 months)
• Commitment: Long-term preferred (2–3+ years)

Responsibilities

• Assist with morning routines and preparing the children for school
• Help children get dressed and ready for the day
• Prepare simple breakfasts as needed
• Pack school items and keep children's belongings organized
• Provide attentive afternoon childcare when the children return home from school
• Plan engaging, age-appropriate activities and play
• Support the children's routines, learning, and development
• Children's laundry
• Maintain children's bedrooms, playrooms, and belongings
• Household laundry
• Make beds
• Clean bathrooms
• Vacuum and mop floors
• General household organization and tidying
• Work collaboratively alongside hands-on parents
• Occasional meal preparation for the children
• Travel with the family domestically and internationally

Qualifications

• Professional nanny experience with young children
• Previous housekeeping and/or family assistant experience
• Fluent Spanish required
• Conversational English required
• Proactive, organized, energetic, and able to keep up with a busy household
• Excellent judgment and ability to take initiative
• Comfortable working alongside hands-on parents
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Comfortable traveling domestically; international travel preferred
• Comfortable driving children preferred
• Seeking a long-term commitment of at least 2–3 years

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at approximately $1,000/week DOE
• Potential for a compensation review and increase after approximately three months based on performance and mutual fit
