Electrical/Mechanical Assembler

Experienced Assemblers Needed

Pay: $18.00-$19/hour DOE

Job Type: Contract – 3-6 Months (Possible Temp to Hire)

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Assemblers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical products and subassemblies while following quality and safety standards.

Essential Duties

• Read, comprehend, and follow product drawings, schematics, and written instructions for proper assembly of electro-mechanical products.
• Verify that released documents are the correct revision before use.
• Follow all quality assurance, safety, and cleanliness policies.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly of final products and subassemblies according to company quality standards and departmental procedures.
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and testing instruments to complete assembly and testing tasks.
• Compare test results against specifications and determine product acceptability.
• Complete paper and electronic records related to work orders, inspections, testing, and nonconforming materials.
• Troubleshoot discrepant materials and work with other departments to identify and resolve issues when needed.
• Assist with inventory kitting and support related departments as directed.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education and Experience

• Completion of an Assembler Training program, OR
• Six months to one year of related experience and/or training, OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and operate equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering tools, and meters.
