Quality Inspector – Precision Manufacturing (East Aurora, NY)
Location: East Aurora, NY 14052
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Overtime: Must be available and flexible
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour

What you’ll do
As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring every part meets strict quality and engineering standards. You will work closely with machinists and production teams to support high-precision manufacturing from start to finish.
Your responsibilities include:
- Inspect machined parts at various stages of production
- Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Perform first piece and first article inspections
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pin gauges, gauge blocks, comparators, and vision systems
- Conduct visual inspections for surface finish, burrs, and imperfections (including microscope use)
- Perform random audits and in-process inspections on the shop floor
- Accurately document inspection results and non-conformances
- Collaborate with machinists and operators to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures
- Use basic computer systems for data entry and reporting
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 2 years of inspection experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- CMM/PC-DMIS experience is a strong plus
- Background in CNC machining or multi-axis machining is highly valued
