Machinist Technician: Lab Machining & CAM

Columbia University is looking for a Machinist Technician in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. This entry-level role involves supporting day-to-day operations in the mechanical engineering teaching laboratory and assisting students with projects.

The technician will operate fabrication equipment, supervise students, and maintain the lab while developing technical skills in advanced machining techniques. Experience with machining and familiarity with CAD/CAM software is highly preferred.
