HOME HEALTH AIDE/PERSONAL CARE GIVER

Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated STNA Home Health Aides to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment
• Help with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Requirements:

• STNA license or 1 year verifiable experience as a personal care giver
• Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and medical terminology
• Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
• Ability to assist with tube feeding and medication administration
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Physical ability to lift and move patients as needed
• Compassionate nature and ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families
