Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)

Spring Creek Healthcare Center | Millcreek, Utah

Spring Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In our skilled nursing facility, every role contributes to creating a safe, comfortable environment where patients can recover and regain independence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment replacements
  • Support maintenance needs across:
  • Kitchen equipment
  • HVAC systems
  • Laundry equipment
  • Plumbing and electrical systems
  • Flooring and general facility upkeep
  • Grounds and exterior equipment
  • Complete routine painting and touch-up work throughout the facility
  • Inspect systems and equipment to ensure safe, proper operation
  • Assist with receiving shipments and moving furniture or equipment
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility needs

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 6 months of maintenance experience in a commercial, healthcare, or industrial setting preferred
  • Experience with flooring care and general facility upkeep preferred
  • Painting experience required (including touch-ups, surface prep, and basic finishing)
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Understanding of safety, sanitation, and patient-centered environments
  • Ability to follow department policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, move, and transport equipment and furniture
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Comfortable working in an active healthcare setting
