We are hiring an experienced HVAC Technical Support Specialist to provide advanced product and troubleshooting support to contractors, field technicians, and internal sales teams.
We are specifically looking for someone with hands-on commercial HVAC service, controls, commissioning, or startup experience. The right candidate understands how commercial systems operate in the field and can diagnose equipment, wiring, control, communication, and performance issues through phone, email, and remote support.
This is not a general customer-service position. You will serve as a technical resource for professionals working with chillers, rooftop units, air-handling equipment, VAV systems, building automation controls, and related commercial HVAC products.
What You’ll Do
Support contractors and technicians with commercial HVAC installation, startup, commissioning, service, and troubleshooting
Diagnose equipment, wiring, controls, communication, and system-performance issues remotely
Guide field technicians through troubleshooting procedures and practical corrective actions
Review wiring diagrams, control sequences, equipment submittals, specifications, and technical manuals
Assist with BAS integration, DDC controls, BACnet communication, and cross-manufacturer system coordination
Support internal sales teams with product applications and technical customer questions
Coordinate with manufacturers and internal specialists when additional technical support is required
Document recurring issues and help improve product training and technical-support processes
